Why register?
Although you can happily browse the site without signing up for an account, registering on the site allows you to do much more and become a real member of the BeGrand.net community. Once you have registered (which only takes a couple of minutes you can:
Create your user profile
Tell us as little (or as much as you like) about yourself in your user profile. On your profile page you can keep track of information relevant to you, such as your blog posts, who your friends are, which groups you are a member of, etc. Think of it as your 'information dashboard' showing your activity on BeGrand.net.

Comment on articles/blogs
It's fun to read the articles on BeGrand.net, at least we hope so! But it is also good to join in the conversation and add your comments to what others have written, so you add to the collective enjoyment and wisdom. You might find after you have commented a few times that you feel the urge to...
...write your own blog

Join (and create) groups
Groups allow people who have a particular area of interest to share their passion with like-minded folk. For example, if you are keen to find out more about how to use the internet, or you've information that others might find useful, you might want to join our technology group in order to discuss, learn and share. We will soon make it possible for you to create your own groups on whatever topic you like (within reason).
Make new friends
As a registered user, you can 'friend' other members of the BeGrand community - this means that you can then be updated as to their activities on BeGrand.net, such as if they write a blog entry or upload some photos and also send them messages...

Once you have added some friends, you can send them private messages within the BeGrand.net website. Which is nice.
Bookmark favourite pages
You can easily add your favourite pages on BeGrand.net to your 'bookmarks' so you can find them easily in future when you come on to the website. Look for the 'Your bookmarks' heading in the Your BeGrand.net block in the left hand column on this page.
Create photo galleries
You can upload photos to share with other members and organise them into galleries with ease. You can choose whether these galleries are public or private.
Be eligible for promotions
From time to time BeGrand.net will be running promotions with carefully selected partners which will offer you great deals and ways to save money. As a registered user you will automatically be eligible for all these promotions.
