Skype IPO

Skype has officially filed the SEC forms that are the beginning of an initial public offering. The Skype IPO has been long predicted, though some surprising numbers were revealed in the filings. Here is the proof: Skype IPO- Details revealed, date not yet set. After the IPO, the ownership structure of Skype can be complicated -- though users are hoping that Skype will keep the no cost services it has become popular for. I think that the company of skype is doing its best to make their services on the net more accesible.I hope that they will be able to fixtheir problems when it comes to the ownership of the company.

Skype desktop sharing

In the latest version of Skype you can now share your desktop so that whoever you are talking to can see what is happening on your computer, or vice versa. This can be very helpful when trying to solve problems.

Skype desktop sharing works!

Have just had sharing session with Rik (Ahhhh!) and, as far as I can make out, all he did was call me on Skype, click a button called 'Desktop sharing' and suddenly I could see his desktop in the section of my Skype screen where I would normally see a video image and just watched him click away and demonstrate something.

If I wasn't so old I'd saw 'awesome'.

Jolly fine.

Skype desktop sharing works

Superb program and very useful but the only downside is some webcams are such low quality it is not easy to see the desktop clearly.  With a high quality webcam it is very useful and helpful if you are trying to show someone how to do something.
