In the latest version of Skype you can now share your desktop so that whoever you are talking to can see what is happening on your computer, or vice versa. This can be very helpful when trying to solve problems.

Have just had sharing session with Rik (Ahhhh!) and, as far as I can make out, all he did was call me on Skype, click a button called 'Desktop sharing' and suddenly I could see his desktop in the section of my Skype screen where I would normally see a video image and just watched him click away and demonstrate something.
If I wasn't so old I'd saw 'awesome'.
Jolly fine.

Superb program and very useful but the only downside is some webcams are such low quality it is not easy to see the desktop clearly. With a high quality webcam it is very useful and helpful if you are trying to show someone how to do something.
